In the Stream Model of the Local Leader Version of the Game, participants apply plans, practices, and policies that help them achieve a water quality goal for a stream. The Stream Model addresses an entire headwaters watershed and the land uses often found in it.
The Game is designed for use with groups of up to 25 elected and appointed officials, members of watershed organizations, association members, and other community leaders and groups.

https://seagrant.umn.edu/watershed-game/training-events The Local Leader Version Stream Model includes the following contents: 6 game board pieces; 1 game extension card; 1 pollution key map; 1 watershed reference map; 29 tool cards; 4 plan cards; 20 unanticipated event cards; 2 laminated scorecards; 50 pieces of game money; facilitator instructions booklet; information guide; 5 dry erase markers; and 1 dry eraser. Classroom Version Extension Pack ($25): Includes all the materials necessary to play the game with middle and/or high school students (25 student worksheets, 4 laminated student worksheets, 24 role cards, and a lesson plan instructions booklet).
